No we don't need to go backwards, we can look forward only. Being grandfathered in or whatever if fine. Lets be sensible. Times have changed and we can learn from places like France that are living horrible lives because they let so many immigrants in. Shame. Trump has it right. So long as people go through the right channels and are checked out that is fine let them in. He had said nothing more than that, but of course the ultra left wing media is claiming racism and whatever else. Talk about a pack of lies, but what else is new on the media. I stopped calling it news.

Interesting; so even at a time in the history of the U.S. when the country was in need of a lot of unskilled we were actively combating illegal entry into the country.

I don't care where people are from - Ireland, Canada, Mexico, or flippin Australia. The law is the law. And we all need to be equal under it. If you're here legally, you have the same legal rights and protections as everyone else in this country. If you're here without legal permission to be here (including if that legal permission has expired) - then you need to be held equally accountable under our immigration laws regardless of where you came here from or which passport you hold.
Winner.

We know that and yet, it's still not an issue except for worked up AM radio listening keyboard warriors.

I'm still looking for the AM button. Didn't even know AM was still a popular option.
