The first time I really looked at it I think my internal response was along the lines of, "what the...?!?" As a white person I think that with a proper label putting the statue in its context it could be a learning opportunity about racism, but if people of color want it gone, I would totally understand that.

My dad owned a moving company, he never got a call from someone wanting to move to Canada.
