I got 99% and have just lived here for a year. I have been very entrenched in the Pittsburgh dialect due to my job...I probably wouldnot have gotten most of them if I didn't work. I only new "nebby" because I just heard it yesterday for the first time from a client. The 1% I missed is because I always thought Myron Cope's voice was just plain irritating. One of my first visits here was visiting my inlaws. We watched a Steelers game but they cut the TV volume down to listen to Myron on the radio. I couldn't understand half of what the man said. That was quite a long game.

I wasn't really sure about the Myron Cope one either. I sorta took an educated guess, but must have got it right.

I got 81 (?) b/c of leaving # 8 blank. I should have answered, cuz I knew the intent. Just stubborn, I guess. I may have missed the Myron Cope one too. (I did this yesterday, and my short term memory isn't what it used to be. Or maybe it is what is always was, LOL.)

Yeah, #8 needs changed. But I figured the intent and got my 100%.

I am a native, though only a half-breed. My mom was from Wisconsin. I never spoke Pittsburghese, but do understand it. It's like being bilingual, LOL!

About the Myron Cope question. Alot of male steelers fans will turn off the TV volume and turn on Cope's radio broadcast(its better than hearing John Madden). Yes his voice is irritating, but it is also Pittsburgh and everyone loves the guy so his voice then becomes less irritating. If you weren't aware of the legend of Myron Cope, then yes he would be annoying. Rest in Peace Myron.
