I find the information from the non-profit Strong Towns USA to be pretty interesting. It presents a compelling case that our never ending quest to achieve sprawling growth needs to stop.

Great points all around. Pittsburgh and its region has a ton of infrastructure that can/should be re-invested in without the need for sprawl or addition. Moderate population growth can be easily accommodated without dozing forests for new cul de sac developments
