Any kid/family friendly places/activities in the area that you guys would recommend? Say within 30 minutes or so.

I live in the Aliquippa zip code, but am closer to WV/OH border than Aliquippa proper. As mentioned, it is a large area so don't let the naysayers turn you away from the zip code.


That being said, Brodhead Road traffic is a total PITA.



What are you looking for in a house?

Thanks for the reply. Well the looking for a house part is over lol. We have an offer pending. Now just trying to learn the area a little better before our move in date.

Hit up Paradise Pub - great owners and servers. Never had a bad meal there. The owner does specials and many of them are really great.



Beaver County Fruit & Garden carries Boar's Head meats and every day except Sunday they have Oram's doughnuts.


Papa Duke's has pretty good gyros, though they aren't as good as they used to be.


Going the other way into Hopewell, JW Halls is a good place for a fancy pance dinner.



Harold's Inn is ok - not as good as it was when The Captain was alive.


Patrick's Pub in Moon has an awesome beer selection and great food.
