Wow, this is great someone on the Steelers actually didn't want a gangbanger on the back of his helmet. Way to go. Finally someone that has a set.

He had a set the last time the Stiller’s chose to not come out for the National Anthem. Need more like him.

Art II is a cowardly, pandering "woke" excuse for a team owner, obviously afraid to upset his coach or the vast majority of his clueless, poorly educated, self righteous, entitled players.
This is the 2020 version of the NFL, with a gangbanger's name emblazoned on a team's helmets.

While it is quite a joke, Travis Henry’s clown suit took the title.

It really is surreal!! Antwon was a gangbanger and lived a life with guns and drugs. That is who the Steelers are now glorifying. He and his buddies shot someone in the gut moments before that lone cop in East Pittsburgh pulled them over in their bullet riddled car. The cop knew they were suspects and he was warned to keep an eye out for them. So Antwon being held for potential murder decides to flee on a stop for murder or attempted murder? You can't be allowed to flee if stopped for that. The law is CLEAR on that. The officer was not charged as he shouldn't be, but the Steelers are glorifying this guy?

How about the cops that were shot on duty be on the helmets instead. That would certainly be more appropriate. What message are we sending our young by glorifying the gang lifestyle? Seriously, you can't make this up. Become a drug dealer, shot someone in the gut and you too can be on the back of an NFL helmet!!! WOW!

God bless Alejandro Villanueva. His teammates are pathetic. I want to shake the hand of the officer who shot that gangbanging, POS, thug.

People saying that Villanueva isn’t a team player because he didn’t do what the team did cracks me up. Thinking anyone should honor a criminal is quite the ridiculous expectation.

OK, dad's here...settle down, boys.

first of all - you are being too hard on the kid. you make it sound like he was raping and pillaging. you have to wonder how much freewill someone has when they live among that culture. not that all inner city blacks are thuggy.

the reason we might not have non-black kids like that is because the demographics of hte city - when people ahve kids, they usually start planning to move out so they can go to "better" school districts. so there just arent that many packs of white kids anymore. at one time, those freaking punks in the south side were little thugs that begged for a beatdown (i usually got the beatdown, though).

so i am just asking you to think about this and lighten up with your condemnation of Rose.

I applaud wholeheartedly for Alex New Town, though. I do not think the Steelers have any business putting Rose's picture on their helmet. The social awareness is a little ridiculous at that point.

And like another mentioned, about the Los Angeles cops almost assassinated last weekend. maybe they should put the SHOOTER'S picture on their helmet, above the words "Get Ready for 'Life', Beatch".

Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. Maybe he’ll be an example as to what can happen when you decide to be a criminal and play with guns.

At least Villanueva isn’t honoring the clown.
