Nope. I really don’t think it’s that great of a team with him. The fact your 39 year old QB is a former shell of himself and in the bottom 3rd of the league in passing speaks volumes. It ain’t that great of a team.

The NFL really stinks tho for talent and powerful teams. Especially the AFC north. It’s a very weak division. Bad football being played all around.

The steelers invested a lot in Watt. He’s hurt again. The steelers gave away a first round pick for Fitzpatrick, who doesn’t have an interception yet this year. He’s around a dozen games or so combined with last year without a pick.

We are just used to watching bad football all around and thinking it’s good.

If talent was getting better and the nfl was top notch you wouldn’t have a 44 year old QB as the best player in the league.

Nobody predicted a great team with him. He gives them the best chance to win.

It’s called parity in the league.

Except Mahomes is the best player in the league right now. He surpassed Brady this weekend

Elite defense my arse. 200 rushing yards allowed today. Poor tackling.

Madden said it well - 2 great players, but the rest are not a cohesive, brick wall, exactly. A "fraud", he called it. I wasn't sure about that all season, thinking maybe they have too much field time, so get worn down. But he might be right about the defence.

Secondary has been lousy all year and run defense is nothing great. The hope that Tuitt and Banner would start the season but hit the IR has been a problem, especially Tuitt.

2 things are for sure, Rudolph and Haskins stink.

9 starters out for tonight and Ben just activated. Any predictions/wagers before the hindsight rolls in?

Wow, Ben played great and pretty amazing how they hung with the Chargers to the very end with so many starters out.

He did well, but the chargers were 5-4 and their defense is Swiss cheese. They rank dead last in rush defense. And 27th overall, but yep this was the best game I’ve seen ben play all year. No matter they still lost.

Only the chargers and Las Vegas have allowed more points than the ten worsts defenses in the league. But they are the only teams without losing records. The Steelers were beaten by both teams this year.

They have two good players. Heyward and Watt. Watt is unreliable and injury prone. Fitzpatrick is above average but wasn’t worth a first round pick to obtain. He’s in the middle of of the league at best when it comes to safeties.

They should’ve franchised watt. They spent way too much money for an often injured player. They Steelers aren’t a good team either. You need to beat teams with winning records as the raiders and chargers while not tying the lions.

Ben played well in probably his best performance all season. It doesn’t change he is 39 and on the decline. This loss is a killer. Especially when you have Baltimore twice as well as Cleveland and Cincinnati one more time

TJ Watt? likely the 2021 NFL defensive player of the year? (#2 last year) lifetime stats ranked #2 for sacks/season? they guy is a HOF candidate NOW, let alone in 6 years when he hangs it up.

Injuries? All NFL players have injuries but isnt yesterdays game his second NFL game missed due to injury? You might need to tune in and actually follow the games....just sayin

$112M well spent in this crazy world...
