Lol. Typical NFL/Stiller hater that surfaces after a couple losses.

Who said they were going to win another SB with Ben? I predicted several years ago here, that Tomlin wouldn’t win another SB here.

That’s perfect Bucs logic, but by your logic, most of the league needs to cut bait ASAP and figure out the plan for the next era, because very few have a chance at winning a SB, lol.

No, very few have a soon-to-be 39 year old quarterback with no prospect of better days ahead.

Who said he had better days ahead? Other than Mahomes, which qb’s have a better record this year than Ben?

Which qb’s have a legitimate chance at winning the SB this year and next?

That’s the point for moving on. He is an aging, cap-eating, declining QB with no future upside. His best days are long gone. So if the goal is to win a super bowl, time to come up with a new plan. Or the Stillers can waste the next few years for nostalgia’s sake. Just like the Penguins.

Lol. You make a lot of statements but don’t answer the questions if they don’t fit your narrative.

What qb should the Stillers sign, draft, or trade for?

If every team did what you’re suggesting, their would be even more terrible teams. This isn’t MLB where there’s hundreds of starting pitchers. Franchise qb’s are extremely hard to find and most teams in the league would sign Ben tomorrow. Perhaps an easier way for you to understand, since you don’t like the NFL, and especially Ben, is that the Bucs let Happ walk, didn’t replace Burnett with a quality starter, trotted terrible pitchers onto the field, etc..., and have been perennial losers since 2015 and that trend will continue. Moral of the story is that not only do you have no idea what you’re talking about, but Ben is their best option for winning, hence the team is 11-2.

There is a 0.0% chance to win a Super Bowl without making the playoffs and who do you replace Roethlisberger with to win a Super Bowl right now? Also, as a reminder Tom Brady and the Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2019 and Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2020 so just make sure to replace Roethlisberger with someone of this caliber and a Super Bowl win should be no problem.

0.0 chance of winning a Super Bowl with Roethlisberger. It’s ok to admit, yinzer. Just keep him around forever! Let the decline continue indefinitely. Him being there best option today and providing zero chance of winning a Super Bowl this year, or any year in the future, are not mutually exclusive. Sometimes a multi-year rebuild is necessary. I’m fact, the later the realization is made, the longer the rebuild takes. How many more years does the team continue to not win a championship with an over-the-hill quarterback before trying something new? I assumed the goal was to win a Super Bowl. Guess I was wrong.

“most teams in the league would sign Ben tomorrow” LMFAO.

The greatest of all time (read: an anomaly) and a 2nd year guy on a rookie contract. Don’t think you are aware of whose point you are making.

Lol.

Who said he’s going to be kept around forever? He signed a short extension that he’ll retire after it expires.

It’s funny that you think that’s funny.

You hated Ben for as long as you’ve posted here. What did he do to hurt your feelings?

i just dont think he is more than 20% of whats holing them back.

its injuries. receivers that are dropping passes. injuries. horrible talent at backfield. oh, and injuries.

ben proved ME wrong (i predicted his talent would degrade to nothing by 2018), and he may still have an amazing post season that he can pull out of his butt. and then perhaps 2 more years.

we can still get a by...get Haden back on the field, Snell finds a groove, hope Mahomes gets ringoworm or something....come on, this is typical Tomlin teams. Lots of talent, play like crap at times.

they might surprise us.

Leveon - if you werent such an ass....
