“I don’t see a constitutional problem with a mask mandate,” he said. “It’s a simple, relatively inexpensive protective measure.”

“Crack’d Egg has chosen to remain closed. They take their position on the constitutionality of the mask and appeal, that’s their right,” McVay said. “But they choose to be closed rather than meet with the health department and have customers wear masks while they appeal.

So I heard the Egg and some other establishments that didn’t follow PA’s ridiculous “mandates” or whatever ended up getting slapped with some $500 fines. That’s it. The Egg just chose to fight it to make a point, but for the ones who didn’t, wow, just write the stupid little check which is a day’s worth of being open with no masks, no social distancing, no food with alcohol and staying up late... laugh, and move forward.

What a joke that other businesses took it seriously and are paying seriously for it.
