I'm just saying if you have a standard you should apply it consistently. Either it's neither the fault of poor black people in inner cities or poor white people in small towns that they have their lot, or it's the fault of both groups. You can't pick and choose.

Bingo…and that goes for all folks that choose not to work and contribute to society, versus making excuses for them.

People choose to be poor. Nothing is stopping someone from working at McDonalds or walmart at minimum wage and saving their money. Being frugal is a thing. No fancy shoes or phones, no fancy food, no fancy entertainment. Just work and sleep. And then get another job. If you're not going out, you can work 80 hours a week. Eventually you can become a manager and make really good money. That's how you become wealthy in this country. You just have to want it.

The federal government carries a lot of people not contributing to society.

Very few people are on TANF these days since the Clinton-era "reforms." The long-term poor are typically on SSI.

And state governments get money directly from the federal government. West Virginia is pretty high up on the list of federal spending per capita.

Most of it is a complete scam. Wouldn't you agree? I stand in line at grocery stores and can pick out who is going to be a food stamp person. They usually have shrimp involved and are big spenders.

I think we need to shut most of it down.

Look at what the idiot Wolf did. Businesses can't fill any jobs. Why? Wolf!!!! Scam city. Ah the bleeding hearts are sure idiots!

Shut down much of the state and the 2nd most businesses in the country, and wants to raise taxes to make up for the lost revenue. What a clown he is.

As I stated many times and some strangely disagree. Pittsburgh’s downtown is a ghost town.

I don’t think it will come back. Too much riff raff and crime. Shame.
