My daughter was reading Cosmo online and came upon this article:

Pittsburgh - Hot-City Guide - Cosmopolitan.com (http://www.cosmopolitan.com/sex-love/city-guide/pittsburgh - broken link)

What does everyone think? Accurate? BS? Or somewhere in between?

Fuel and Fuddle is the best bar? Huh. It's okay, but I could name 10 I like better.

In between. A couple points are right on, a couple others are way off base, in my humbled opinion.

Am I reading this correctly; they chose 100 cities? Of course Pittsburgh would be a hot spot, they are running out of little thumbtacks to put on the country

Yeah, I think that was more just an exercise in trying to identify hot spots in Pittsburgh, not identifying Pittsburgh overall as a hot spot.

And I agree about Fuel and Fuddle--it is OK, but not one of my favorites. Then again, I don't read Cosmo.

Fuel & Fuddle isn't the best bar, Le Pommier definitely is not the best food, and the Mattress Factory just up the street from the Warhol is way superior. But then again, if they are just pointing out some of the spots to hang out in Pittsburgh, there's not much to say about it.
