Hello from Virginia!

My husband is a huge Steelers fan and I'm a Bret Michaels fan and found out he will be playing on 9/4/10 for the "Ribfest Event".

Can anyone tell me a little more about this Ribfest event? I'm assuming vendors come in, set up and cook ribs, etc. Do you pay for this or?

I'm trying to figure out whether my husband and I will be traveling over 3 hours.... thanks!

The Ribfest is actually held OUTSIDE Heinz Field.

It's scheduled this year to be over Labor day weekend (Sept 2-6). The Steelers will play thier final pre-season game vs Carolina Sept 2.

I believe there is no cover charge for attending the Ribfest at all.

Yup - I never paid a cover there.
The concerts are OUTSIDE also.
