Once a steeler fan always a steeler fan. The past is the past & bens learned his lesson. He just hit up on a few bimbos barely out of their teens. Steelers football is approaching fast. YEAH!!!

I am not going to concern myself about what any of those guys are doing in their personal lives. They are athletes who play the game to entertain us. I think a parent might want to teach their children the same value - not to make "role models" in a certain sense of athletes and entertainers. They can certainly inspire kids or anyone to push themselves to make the most of whatever talents they have, even if that is excelling in education or any career. All that stuff in the realm of personal conduct shouldn't keep kids from enjoying pro sports.

I just want to know why in the world was Ben Roethlisberger in Milledgeville? It's a small town with a small college, 100 miles from Atlanta, in the middle of no where. It's not exactly a Georgia hotspot.

I paid almost no attention to that story, maybe read one and a half articles about it, don't really care about the Steelers, and even I know that he owns a home outside of town.

I'm not sure it is proper to hold the actions of one player against an entire team. The Steelers are Pittsburgh and vice versa. Ben just happens to play on the team. He is in no way "the team."
Go Steelers!!

Ben Roethlisberger owns a winter home on Lake Oconee in eastern Georgia. There's a very pretigious golf resort located there. Milledgeville is the nearest decent-sized town, about 30 miles away. Athens is 50 miles away, and Atlanta is 90 miles away.

I have to say my favorite thing to come out of the whole Big Ben scandal were the Dumb and Dumber Tshirts sold in the Strip picturing Big Ben and Tiger with their arms around each other

I was never into any sports including football so I could care less about the Steelers. If that's your thing, cool. Getting into sports can be a positive thing and it brings alot of happiness to people's lives. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

However I can't stand those people who plan their entire year around Pittsburgh sports to the point where it becomes an unhealthy obsession. There's more to life than worshiping over paid athletes who play games in the middle of corporate advertising overload hell.

From the WW and the Dixie Dance Kings Movie - only hog's root!

The Steelers are a good team, they just don't like to pay much money.

Every-time they get a good player - they end up trading them off for some other player that is only half as good.

It's the Charlie Batches of this world that makes the world go round and it is the Ben Rothlesbergers and Michael Vicks of this world that makes the sport have such a black eye.
