Some of the responses on this thread really make me believe that some people cannot handle a confident and articulate non-white.

Quite a few code words for "uppity negro" being tossed about.

Tell me again who is obsessed with race? Its the media and the left. You know damn well that most of us have no issue with the race of Obama. We take issue with his past, his beliefs, those who surround and influence him, and how he has handled his Presidency thus far.

Hey! You're back. Could you please give examples of what "he has done to circumvent and snub our Constitution"?

If it floats your boat to think of Obama as a constitutional scholar fine. But when scholarship is prostituted to serve ideology of what value is it? In the old Soviet Union there were plenty of scholars and writers and artists who put their craft and talent at the service of the communist ideology. The product of their work was not given much credence in the west. Notwithstanding his whining denials Obama is an ideologue and all his utterances and actions are a reflection of that ideology. His view of the Constitution and his contempt for the letter of that document cannot be divorced from his Leftist ideology.

Media Inquiries | University of Chicago Law School
UC Law School statement: The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as "Senior Lecturer." From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School's Senior Lecturers have high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined.
