I wonder if any of the lefties on this thread would like to apologize.
I said McCrystal was a good General and did not deserve to be fired. That what he said was no big deal.
President Obama fired a General based on an article in Rolling Stone Magazine. Turns out the General didn't do what he was accused of. He saw the chance to get rid of a guy who publicly opposed don't ask, don't tell and trumped up some charges to get rid of him.
The President runs his war policy based on what a magazine that is read mostly by pot heads says.
Here's the article proving me correct.
OhioIstheBest is right and the Lefties are wrong. As usual. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110418/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_mcchrystal_probe - broken link)
P.S. It's interesting reading the comments on here from the lefties. You know, the people that are smarter and more open-minded than everyone else. LMFAO.
This is what is so unbelievable to me. I don't know much/anything about General McChyrstal but the lack of professionalism indicates that for all his accomplishments he lacks character. I really thought there might be legal proceedings. There have been a few stories about officers of lower rank that were stripped of all benefits for less than this.
I think you meant to say the Commander in Chief lacks character. He is the one running war policy based on magazine articles and not on reality. Not just any magazine, but one aimed at pot heads.
Weird...usually the leftists are salivating to get the chance to run down someone who DARES to oppose their leader.....
Good call by the way.
They were quick to jump on here and smear the reputation of General McChrystal.
Now that it has been proven President Obama is so inept that he runs war policy based on a magazine for drug addicts they are nowhere to be found. LOLs.
How.....what's the word I'm looking for?........Predictable.
I expect that the Palin political machine will pick him up and make him the new darling of the far right. I think a Palin/McChrystal ticket in 2012 will unify the right wing of politics. Depends on if he's malable enough to stay on the right wing message.
Not sure about that. His blunder proves that he's no politician...that's for sure. If he's not smart enough to avoid critisizing the president in public not once, but twice, he'd probably end up sinking his own political career anyway.
The guy needs to find a soft, cushy job somewhere in corporate America.
