I am so sick of rightwingers attacking Obama when they had control of both houses and the White House for 6 years and did nothing about illegals nor did they do anything for the 6 years before Bush came in the WH. So why are rightwingers attacking now but kept quiet for so long? Are they just hypocrites?
It never ceases to amaze me how the left proclaims Bush the worst President ever but yet use him as a yardstick to measure Obama against. And their conclusion is he is doing the same things Bush did. Does that mean he is as bad as Bush in their eyes?

In fact GWB and congress attempted to do much the same as Obama as it relates to illegal immigration. They were eviscerated by my conservative peeps (me included)
I agree with you. They are both lax in addressing this growing crisis. Bush was Mexico's best buddie and the cheap labor was much needed during the growth in construction. The democrats look at them as usefull fools and a bigger voter base. The thing is now not then, but now we really must attack this issue our border is on fire and people are getting killed on a daily basis. I must pose a question to all on the forum. Do you still smoke pot and do a little coke now and then? You think you are not a part of the problem? Stop now.
I agree. While the drug wars in Mexico are terrifying, we must look at our own country... Let's say, hypothetically, Mexico/illegals aren't a problem in the US. We would still have drug wars and violence. We need to get everything under control. My biggest thing is that there are people who are blaming other countries for everything gone wrong in the US. I think it's time to start blaming ourselves and making a change instead of just bitching and placing blame on others.

Maybe because you were playing deaf to their complaints before? If you think conservatives were not complaining about some policies of Bush, then you are simply here to push propaganda. If you think conservatives were not complaining about some of the actions of democratically controlled congress during the Bush years, again... more propaganda you are pushing.
