Ironic, isn't it?
The RNC is political in their actions, wouldn't you agree? The RNC is also found saying silly things like "We need to reach out to minorities"; as if their message, views and goals aren't enough to attract voters and members. so this would mean they chose Steele out of a politically motivated "reach out" campaign, and not because of affirmative action.

An affirmative action appointment would have been based under the assumption that blacks are inferior in their abilities, and Steele needed a sympathetic hand up. Steele has been a regular talking head, pushing and defending the republican Party line, way before he was ever considered for the RNC.

About Steel, I thought he did a pretty good job before he got the job, somehow he got weaker and weaker after a while.
Kind of funny though that you think that the party that had a black Sec. of State, a black and a woman National Sec. adviser would be electing Steel just because he is black. What do they have to prove?

I agree with you. Steele was a different man before he got the job or should I say he pretended to be a different man. I was a big supporter of Steel but no more. The racist Democrats are just grasping at straws to try and bring the Republicans down to their level.

When it comes to skin color, it is always the liberals that focus on it.

About 90% of blacks are biracial. Why does this fact change the situation with Obama?

Its pathetic, do you think Steele got the job based on race but that cant be the reason Obama got the job?

Steele's total incompetence (as well as the entire GOP) is one of the many reasons why i left the GOP. whether he got the job because he's black may never be known, but we all know how quick the GOP is willing to try and pander to a group(s) while totally ignoring substance...........wait, sounds like the democrats.

Actually black folks DID vote for Kerry and Gore in staggering numbers. Historically, the numbers suggest they vote for whoever is the Democratic Nominee regardless of their color. Try again.
