This guy has it right on the money.

Do read the rest, it is a very informed piece, full of truth.

The only idea the democrats have is to raise taxes to deal with their increased spending.

They never, ever, never think to cut back on spending, they always try and move the spending bar higher and higher and higher and then tell us we're in trouble, gotta raise taxes now.

Great link as usual.

Barry the job killer will be unemployed in two and a half years as well. This is one citizen that will tremendously help the economy when he is laid off.

Yes. Why should those that are opposed to his radical, ruinous policies participant in the obama economy?

It's irrefutable; the UE was lower, the deficits and debt were lower, interest rates were higher. Keep in mind, things are only getting worse under Obama. It's so bad that 652,000 people LEFT the labor pool last month alone! They just gave up. That's the ONLY reason the UE rate is not well in excess of 10%. I don't have the exact numbers off hand, but millions (maybe 2-4) of people have left the labor force since Obama was inaugurated. If things are so great under Obama/Pelosi/Reid, why are people not even looking for work?
Home equity was being withdrawn at a high rate during 2001-2007. It accounted for a lot of the consumer spending and hence GDP. I don't recall the exact figure, but it was something like 8 to 10 percent of disposable household income.

Recent transcripts of FOMC meetings from that period were released. The Fed was conscious of the housing bubble and was trying to further inflate it to support the economy.

Who cares? A dustmop could run against Barry and beat him. I would imagine, given that unemployment and the economy will be worse in 2012, probably any random ferrel cat would be able to defeat him.
