What is being "mainstream" ? (Ron Paul, government, supporter, Ohio)

It seems like for the last few years that has been the buzz word.

IMO, it's whites saying: be more like us!

I always thought Mainstream was code for: Join white society and be more like Whites and ignore your own culture.

To me being more "mainstream" is ignoring the government is selling off our sovereignty piece by piece, and our freedoms in the name of security, health and safety, or whatever else the liberals can come up with (by liberals I mean all of the Democrats and 3/4 of the Republicans).

Diversity is code for: forget everything about white culture and be more like us.

Diversity is SUPPOSED to mean inclusion. But I think it's somewhat of a joke in America. It's nice window dressing.

I'm not going to hijack the thread here. But, that is basically what diversity means. Give me this because I'm not white/male/hetereosexual or whatever group you want to say.

It might have started out as inclusion but it no longer means that.
