By biases, I mean gender bias.

In the West, male judges are mistreating their own gender. They believe any lies the opposite says and won't listen to the man's side of story. If a man or a woman files for divorce (in which 99% are initiated by women), women get everything 99% of the time. Also, men are false accused of things they didn't do, by women. Their lives, reputations, and social status will drop.

What kind of men does America have in politics and the justice system? Those aren't real men in my opinion. I understand that most of those men are baby boomers and some Gen Xers. Hopefully, Gen Y men see that this is a problem and will fix the errors the past generations left behind.

The coalition of radical feminists and "tough on crime" conservatives formed in the late 1980s.

Radical feminism is organized crime and those "tough on crime" conservatives are puppets, tools. I think liberals are part of the problem too.

The liberals by that time were too linked to the feminists to question the feminist movement when it went radical. They were basically intimidated into supporting those policies. Also, as a result of the resurgence of "tough on crime" conservatism, the liberals adapted the exact same policies.

If there are no children involved then the settlement is pretty equitabe but if the are children, the court most always gives preference to the mother, unless proven to be unfit in some way. Just the way it works.

I'll just give you a simple explanation. We have biases in our system because we, as humans, are flawed from conception

Which is why gay marriage, and the inevitable divorces and child custody arrangments that come with it, will further f*ck this nation up morally and socially. How do you decide who the "mother" is in a gay relationship? This nation is making laps around the commode as we speak. It's only a matter of time before the flush is complete.

Scratching my head and wondering how gay marriage entered the picture. In the overall scheme of divorce, gay divorce must account for less than 1 tenth of one percent of the divorce problem. But you do make a good point. Must be a very messy ordeal when it does happen.

There's been a bias in favor of giving custody to the mother in a divorce for over 100 years according to Lawrence Friedman's History of American Law.

In the 1950s some prominent men, especially actors, who wanted custody of their kids, would go before HUAC and say their estranged wives were communists, so they would get custody, the wives would have no contact with the kids, and the ex-wives' lives would be totally ruined.
