Yes, I went there. I thought about the differences between Bush II, Clinton, Bush I, Reagan and there is one obvious difference and it has nothing to do with policy. Obama's policy is not much different than the others especially Clinton but the reaction to his Presidency is like night and day. Are you telling me that there isn't a certain element on the right that associates Americanism (and therefore patriotism, love of country, etc) with whiteness? Hence why they "want their country back". Dark skin is associated with being unpatriotic and down right un-American.
You know, the only ones who allude to the statement of being unpatriotic because of the color of his skin are the liberals. I don't remember seeing one post by anyone making that comparison.
When you start not enforcing laws to appease the hispanic community and Mexico and other countries before using the laws to protect Americans, that is Un-American.
When you are the POTUS, one of the most powerful positions in the world and go to an Arab country, where most of those animals danced in the street during 9-11 and bow before a leader, that is not only "acting stupidly" as to quote the POTUS, but not representing America.

My husband and I went to a friends house for dinner this weekend. My husbands friend is seriously stressing because his company has warned people they might have to start laying people off.In the convo he brings up that while he is stressing about losing his job, his girlfriend is doing the job of 5 other people ( she is a manager and they had to let go of 5 people that worked in her dept) the president is taking another vacation, That it must be nice.
