I live on the WV-Ohio border. I am in WV every day. People did not vote for Obama because of his socialist policies. Not because of his race.

The fact that Obama got 95% of the black vote suggests to me that blacks decided they wanted a black man in office. Nothing more.

I think he did the worst in Oklahoma which didn't have a single county that went his way.

Strangely enough, it's the last state that i'd ever live in too...ranking even below Mississippi, which is hard to believe.

I have NEVER witnessed anything like you describe in the Tea Party events I have been too. I do not believe you.

Definitely not but the undeniable fact is that there are racist elements within the Tea Party and it's seldom that you here Tea Party leaders speak out against racism.
Another false accusation from the left who cannot discuss the failed policies that have brought economic ruin to this nation so you falsely play the race card. Members and leaders of the different Tea Party have spoken out against racism. But please continue to falsely make blanket statements while we discuss the horrible and destructive policies YOUR party helped put into place that caused the depression we are in. While you continue your unfounded statements, the Tea Party will try to reduce the debt and reel in the expanding, inefficient, costly Federal government.
Can we avoid the issues. YES WE CAN!

Yea, that Strom...the guy who as governor TERRORIZED the black people of South Carolina and enforced Jim Crow as if he'd written it himself. Knowing all that, your Senate Majority leader (a Mississippian...not a coincidence) said that the whole country should've voted for ol' Strom because if they did, we wouldn't have these problems today (problems meaning black folks with all these rights).

I'm not one to say that the Tea Party is inherently a racist organization. Hell, i don't even believe that it is, but i doubt very seriously if a 3rd of them would give a black person or latino the time of day. If there are Uncle Tom black folks who go along with that, then fine. But i'm going to call them out on it...as is my duty to do so.
You don't believe it is racist yet you falsely accuse 1/3 of them to being racist.

They voted about the same for Kerry and Gore. What did that suggest?

Generous isn't the word I was going to use.
Show proof that 1/3 are. Don't use facts just throw enough mud and hope some sticks tactic? Afraid to discuss the issues and many failed policies of the left so the false accusations fly.

Amazing how time after time after time the Federal governments all encompassing policies fail yet people continue to go back to the poisonous well.
I wonder why small government and lowering the debt is considered racist?

Some Black Tea Partiers that associate themselves with racist have to be against their own race. In no way I'm saying all Blacks that are Tea Partiers are Unks but some of the things I read and saw with my on eyes make me shake my head.

Tea Partyr signs below.

1. Damn Kenyans are always winning marathons and stuff. True.

2. Congress = Slaveowner, Taxpayer = *****r. Clearly Racist and illiterate.

3. Vote No or Else What does that mean?

4. I'm concerned about the Heart Beat of our country. WTH!

4.Shoot him! Wow.
People always tend to see only what they want, and conveniently either ignore or forget what others have done.

anti bush signs - Google Search

Bus was compared to hitler, nazis, called a war criminal, people held up signs wanting to shoot him or have him killed.

Is it all right for 1 side and not the other?

Some of these people didn't know how to spell, I remember one that what interviewed, who had trouble articulating a single complete sentence.

I happen to know quite a few people who are a part of the "Tea Party", and they are in no way associated with those whom you quoted above. These people are black, white, asian, latino, and even 1 american indian.

Not all tea party people are insane idiots with lacking education, just like not all anti bush protesters were uneducated simpletons.

Last but not least, we can look to Republicans for the passing of the Civil rights act, as well as the tea party for having a more diverse group of people elected.

I guess that may be the reason. Slavery was such an awful thing, and electing a black president is momentous thing, and it offers some healing, even if we now know that 0bama's ineptitude has made the event nothing more then a symbolic act.

Maybe 0bama's election can be a teaching moment to people who think that electing someone of their same race, ethnicity, etc... means they will do anything to improve that part of your life, that they have something in common with. sort of like electing a president from Texas means suddenly the lives of those in Texas will improve.
