One of the most outspoken gay critics of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy said Thursday that he has been discharged from the Army.

Lt. Dan Choi, who was arrested in March for handcuffing himself to a White House fence in protest of the policy, released a statement saying he had been honorably discharged.

And why should someone who violates the law, receive an "honorable" discharge. Nothing honorable about violating the law, even if you disagree with it..

Hello? Outspoken critics of anything are not part of the military ethos.

I stand on the opposite side of the issue.. I am a supporter of gays in the military, and agree that it can be the right thing to do at times, but you shouldnt be rewarded for doing so..

Is being arrested?

And I believe it is part of the military ethos.. Didnt Obama just fire a general for being a critic?

I'm stunned that he received an Honorable discharge. He violated a long standing rule, on national television none the less, and accused his employer in the process. I have been fired from a job for standing my ground and resting on my morals before, and the same should be done to him. He said his piece, now move on.

I'll never understand people who join the military then turn around and have some huge issue with how the military works.

He clearly hated being there if he did that.

Ted Haggard and The Pope are going to parade through the neighborhood streets on a giant bible float with church hymns blaring out of a P.A. system.
