but they are like the "Boy who cried wolf". they accuse people of racism over nothing, and i don't take them seriously.
take the league of the south, for example. they are weird, true, but are listed as a "Hate Group" simply because the people who run the SLPC have an ideological disagreement with them.

I have to disagree, their leader Michael Hill has expressed racist views, aligning with Nazis
They also push a view of anti-feminism, returning "women to the kitchen and to obey their husbands". They are pro-life and push "Chrisitian" beliefs on others.

my point exactly. just because someone has a position you disagree with (pro-life, anti-feminism), you call them a hate group.
I'm just frankly disgusted by the # of yes responses on here. It's sickening.
Sometimes this, makes me glad (of course it's just one of several reasons) that I almost live outside the USA, near a country where racism is not as toxic (35 miles from Vancouver, BC).
If they (white parents) wish to teach their kids where their parents came from, if it involves a country, than why not.....
In this American society, there's no logical reason, why whites, considering the history and the non oppression they've had, would teach a kid to be proud to be white.....that usually leads to hate towards non whites.
While it's not 100% of the time, those groups, such as blacks or native americans, who try to install pride in their race and community, don't do it at the expense of hating white people or excluding them from their daily lives.
If anyone thinks otherwise, they are positively a fool.....really.
I would have no issue with white parents teaching their kids about white pride in a country, where they are the minority, just as long as they don't do it an a hateful way towards the people who are the majority.
Plus, name me a place, where whites have been oppressed, beaten and brutalized, by another race for centuries? Again for centuries, not places like the middle east where the countries are generally speaking less than 100 years old.
I work with 3 year olds who are generally color blind but trust me, as kids get older they reveal any "racist" training they receive at home.
For any racist parents out there: when you dump your kids off at child care or school they get OUR viewpoint. If you plan on raising a racist hillbilly kid then don't bring them to us. STAY HOME! We don't really want to deal with you either if you've got weird racist issues.
You don't have to learn it at home, just go to any of the publc schools and you will learn it from watching how others behave.

How about black parents who teach their kids all white people are evil, etc.
