Climate change and immigration: Warming linked to possible mass Mexican migration to U.S. - latimes.com

Interesting. This backs conservatives/climate-change deniers into a bit of a corner. They can deny climate change, but then they may have to accept millions more Mexicans migrating to the U.S.

Maybe they'll all move to Arizona.

So it has nothing to do with the fact that NAFTA killed most of the rural poor Mexican agriculture jobs by failing to compete with very cheap, subsidized, factory farm products?

The radical racist right will have destroyed this country by then with civil war. If they cant win elections they will scorch the sky and earth. They will not allow Obama to finish his term. Their hate has no stop button.

What proof do you have that the radical right is racist? What proof do you have that Obama's plundering popularity has anything to do with hate?

If the US continues going along the path it's been going on this last decade, America will cease to be a desirable destination for immigrants LONG before 2080, and probably will be a country that sends out people to the rest of the world rather than taking them in.

I doubt I'm the only person to notice that the US and Brazil are changing places so as to speak, and that barring any major changes by 2020 Brazil will economically surpass the US.

If you haven't realized this basic fact by now then you're being deliberately obtuse.

Nothing like a good amount of speculation and hand waving, what typically passes for evidence in the field of atmospheric science (and modern economic theory, but that's beside the point). The link is still worthy of a Nobel Prize, however! Those who disagree can suffer the rage of Gore.
