Some may be shocked to read about this attempt at skirting the Constitution that was written by those oft maligned founders. When I started reading this article I surely didn't think of it being this part. Without an amendment these people are trying to change the part of the Constitution that I never thought would happen, because I look at amendment as the only legal way to change the Constitution.

Guess what part of the Constitution goes next!

Are you saying that the liberals who tell us how much they love our constitution are allowing Obamadung and his band of misfits to destroy our constitution?

Some of us know why he studied the constitution, and it was not to follow it, it was to destroy it and abuse it.

Hope there will be a constitution left when Obama is finally out of our WH.

So much for credible sources to start the thread. WND, Infowars, MM, all in the same boat, not worth the server they are put on.

Go World Nut Daily. I love that link because it has Robert Gibbs laughing his butt off at WND's "reporters".

There is never a story too insane to publish.

If you follow them and believe it, do the world a favor and get some meds.

Hopefully the racist stuff the forefathers wrote. I would personally like to be a 5/5ths a human being instead of the 3/5ths George Washington felt I was.

This is gonna surprise the heck out of you roysoldboy, but I agree with you 100% here.

These bills being passed are clearly unconstitutional and hopefully the courts will strike them down. I would like to see the Popular Vote elect the president, but it needs to be done by constitutional amendment. Doing it this way is just wrong.

I will point out that these bills were being passed long before Obama was even running for president.

This will be struck down by the SC in a heart beat even myself with a scant education could argue the case. What constitutional grounds would the states have to implement and defend this plot? It is not even well thought out for example how happy is the voters in Mass going to be giving the {D} nominee 80% of their vote but the {R} has the most votes nation wide and their electors would have to go to the {R}. It just amaszes me is that legislatures do not understand the simple common sense concept of "cause and effect".
The bad effect I see from this nonsense is that it could hold up election results while working it's way thru our slow court system and the sitting POTUS will have his term extended until the SC strikes it down, and they will.

That was my first thought.

I have a couple of thoughts:

1. NEVER use World Net Daily as a source. Kills your posting credibility.
2. This law will be struck down by SCOTUS. Someone will appeal it.
3. Are you telling me that if a Republican wins nationally, that the people of MA will give their votes to that person instead of the Democrat??? I don't think they'll like that up there.
