Am I the only one who is getting a bellyful of our First Family cavorting all over the world/country spending taxpayer monies at will during these bad economic times? Seems we have a Parttime President who is determined NOT to stay in Washington. Obama is either golfing (some 20-odd days since taking office), having mini-vacations at will, or full-fledged vacations on the east coast.

The First Family is in Florida, on the way to Martha's Vineyard later this month. Didn't the Obama's just finish a vacation on the east coast? One has to suppose that there weren't many paid vacations as a community organizer, and since the taxpayers are footing the bill, the Obama's need to make up for lost time.

sol11 !!! ... Precisely Correct !

Indeed you are not the only one who has noticed the continually outrageous behavior of HO and crew !

It truly appears that when it comes to the the hard earned money of tax payers ... the vast majority of our exceedingly arrogant "Career Politicians" know exactly how to absolutely waste as much of it as they possibly can.

HO is seemingly no different in this "pizzzzzing" away of the peoples money than any other egotistical politician in D.C. !

It would seem to matter not what shape the nation is in, nor how much the general population is in dire need ... these dopey, self serving and so called public servants will always find a way to waste as much of the big bucks as possible !

How much tax payer money HO and crew will waste on themselves is anyones guess, but a good guess will be many, many millions !

Thanks / Old Sgt. Lamar

Bush took 880 days vacation in eight years.

When Obama gets close, wake me up.

What you folks apparently don't recognize is the message these vacations send at a time when millions of American's are struggling. THAT"s the message here, not some tit-for-tat comparison against George W. Bush.

In case you didn't know (not surprised), Bill Clinton adjusted his vacation schedule because he was clued in on the message his vacations sent.
