The Chinese have substantially increased spending on their military while the US has been decreasing its military. Wake up.

Not an attack on the OP but you really need to do some reading up on the advancements of the Chinese nuclear navy and the building of Chinese military bases over the past decade. Yes, the Chinese have "carrier buster" bombs that will render our naval aircraft carriers crippled and sunken.

I do believe you are either unaware or in complete denial of the future threat from China.

they got the red army to do the eviction. if we cant stop 20 million illegal mexicans- mostly unarmed- from taking residence in our country- could we stop the red army from protecting its recently purchased property?
First, the Chinese purchased debt without collateral. They don't own anything.

Second, we could secure the border but our oh so wise leaders leave the immigration situation as it is because they profit from how it is now. Illegal immigrants are easy to exploit, you see.

Third, dear Chairman Hu Jintao and company benefit greatly by unloading mountains of cheap crap onto our shores... in fact, US trade is the single greatest reason why they all aren't still plowing rice fields, killing millions of their own people and doing other noble communist-ish things. Declaring war with us would mean the end of the party for them and a quick trip back to the stone age, even without mushroom clouds.

Oh no China! Save me... Ahhh!

When will you people wake up and see the real threat? It's not China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Mexicans or anyone else. Our country will be defeated and destroyed from within by our own greedy corporations and their pet politicians, our poor educational systems, our collective gluttony and the apathy of our citizens. All China has to do is sit back and watch...

Very good point, bottom line is China is not our friend, why do so many Chinese go into accounting and engineering, it is a great way to learn about you'e enemy so the conquest will be easy as you know all the weaknesses.

There are many real threats. What you have posted is one of the greatest, agreed. However, it does not negate the threat of the Chinese military and how American consumers enable our enemies.

Donald Trump weighed in on the issue of China just yesterday as news broke that China has surpassed Japan for the coveted #2 spot. He says we should tax the hell out of China and could have our debt paid off in no time.

I don't typically like Trump on a personal level, but he does bring a lot of business expertise, something our government officials are sorely lacking.

Here's the video of it:

The United States housing market alone, equals the GDP of China.

I don't think we've got to much to worry about. The reason China keeps buying our debt, is because we have the assets to pay off, if needed.
