Let me tell you how I got mine.

By being a lying POS who has zero respect for those who actually earned them. I am sure that one day I will get what I deserve for my self aggrandizing prevarication.

How did you get yours?

************************************************** ****

This of coarse is a prevarication and my apologies to all of those who bravely earned what you so truly deserve in an effort to make a point.

Why do you disagree with the decision? I think the court got it right. We already have laws against fraud. Passing one regulating speech directly is a bad idea.

I wouldn't expect someone like you to get it.

Thats a great way to get your point across.

Seriously tho ... we can't pick and chose when we want our "rights" to work for us. Yes, lying about prior service is awful. But again, you can't pick and choose.

It is also my understanding that it is still illegal to misrepresent yourself by using the uniform, which I agree with.

AND STILL...none of you are getting my point. Read the OP again, and again if need be. There is no challenge to the ruling there, only extreme disdain for those who lie and disrespect those who actually earned their medal.

Since it is now not a crime, I took the opportunity to make my feelings known without worry of breaking the law.

It is like the GZ mosque, is it legal...yes, should they do it...IMHO, NO.

What in hell are you people talking about?

You do know the difference between a fairy tale and a war story. One starts with "Once upon a time" and the other with "No s**t this really happened".

I can hardly believe some of the sh*t that happend in 'nam and I was there.

What don't I get? Whether it is constitutional or not has nothing whatsoever to do with whether real war heroes get torqued about it, as I'm sure they do, and rightly so.

And WHAT makes you think we don't share your disdain?

Still not a reason to weaken the First Amendment.

You didnt. But you obviously made this thread to make a point. Its pretty obvious that your point is that you don't agree with the change.

Lets not play games here.

*again, i find it terrible when people lie about their service.
