our 'troops' (advisors, trainers, support personnel) plus 'contractors' will be there for the next 20 years
The remaining U.S. troops are there to train Iraqi troops and to protect U.S. State Dept workers. No, Iraq will never be completely at peace. Watch for a Saigon type evacuation of U.S. personnel from Baghdad sometime before The O'men leaves office.
