You know... if I was a betting man, I would wager that Eric Holder is not doing the web design for the DOJ.

A web developer deosn't make those calls. The higher ups do. Especially something like that, it comes from the top.

Please note the most disturbing addition: the quote “The Common Law is the Will of Mankind Issuing From the Life of the People”. Who made this quote?

answer at website. ... hint socialist
Jesus!

It wasn't a logo just a cliche and over done background image for the header! The new site is graphically cleaner and far more up to date design.

"Old Glory" was never on either version. It's actually the shield from the Great Seal of the United States.

And the quotation is the inscription that has been on the side of the DoJ building since it was first built in 1935.

Is there nothing the obama/holder apologists won't excuse?

Here is the old website;

United States Department of Justice

Here is the new website;

Welcome to the United States Department of Justice

Not a hated American flag in sight.

And what is this at the top?

Quote:
“The Common Law is the Will of Mankind Issuing From the Life of the People”
Is that a phrase taken from the Constitution? The Bill of Rights?

Why NO. It is from a British Socialist Lawyer.

Sure it is more up to date. Those hateful red and white stripes are gone as ae they gone from the seal. I guess my old conservative eyes must be seeing something you can't.

the flag is still there. The logo (not a seal) is simply all in gold WHICH is the theme colors of this site (Blue, Gold and white)

- it now looks professional
- it now looks polished
- its user friendly
- its clean
- its simple

I'm a professional web and graphic designer. The former website, was something that came out of WEb 1.0 days. The new one is reflective of how much the web has advanced from using tABLES as layouts.
