These right wing guys are nuts. First they want a revolution, then they start seeing changes that don't exist. As I have said before, it is mass hysteria. Look out for St. Vitus dancers next.

Six pages about a redesign!

And to think that I used to think graphic artist arguments over fonts were ridiculous.

Welcome to the United States Department of Justice

Not a hated American flag in sight.

And what is this at the top?

Is that a phrase taken from the Constitution? The Bill of Rights?

Why NO. It is from a British Socialist Lawyer.
The new website has a certain dignity to it. It speaks of a certain majesty behind justice, law and mercy-the corner stones of that Common Law thing you seem to hate.

It's graphically stunning, easy to look at, easy to use.

I love the flag as much as the next person, but to be wrapped in in constantly doesn't do anyone any justice [pardon the pun]. It's like, idk, hiding behind the Bible. All your doing is limiting your world view. You forget America comprises only 4% of the human population, and about 10% of Earth's land mass. That leaves a human population of 96% and 90% of the land in other place. We are all human, but not everyone is American or Christian [25% of the human popualtion].

And btw, who cares what a British Lawyer says about Common Law? He is legally barred from practicing here in the US...so what's the matter. Common Law was instituted in about the year 850 by King Alfred the Great as a way to administer justice equally throughout his English kingdom.

In sum, stop wrapping yourselves up in the flag and yelling , well the Bible says this....you all are starting to sound like Hitler.

yes. something i'd hope all government websites would aspire to. ease of use first, aesthetically appealing ( easy on the eye ) second, then incorporation of existing logos, icons and color schemes into the design. remember, the US is very late in claiming red, white and blue uniquely it's own.
