Maher is inciting to laugh, not to commit acts of violence.
The man is a comedian, not a demagogue.
No one takes Maher seriously or looks to him for the "truth" - nor would he want them to.
Maher has an audience, not a following.
Maher's fans do not hang on his every word, they realize he is an entertainer, not an expert.
And so many thought Jon Stewart was a REAL "news" source too....
A lot of people take Maher seriously - if they didn't, he'd have no show.
The comedian pontificates on religions as "Fairy Tales" then goes after Sarah Palin because he is under the belief that Ms Palin wanted to have the government deny Muslims the right to practice their religion under the 1st Amendment. After an exhaustive search, we have been unable to find an instance where Ms. Palin advocated for the government to intervene in the free practice of religion, so we expect Mr.
Bill Maher is a very hateful, angry man. I would not call him a "comedian". John Stewart, who appears to be a liberal, is pretty funny, as he pokes fun at everyone, with obviously more attention to conservatives.
Because it begs the question, take it back to what? You KNOW what those TP-ists mean when they say it. The folks who had no interest in politics before about September 2008.
