Yeah, I don't like Bill Maher. But I don't like Palin either. They are both off the idiot rocker imo. Strangely similar in their style: both bulldoze over anyone else who wants to speak and is unrelenting in their own narrow viewpoint. I have turned both of them off many a time. Too annoying and transparent. I wish someone would start a reality show that coaches them both in communication skills.
So how is Maher a shill when he is as unsparing against Democrats as he is Republicans?
Thats where the conservative argument starts losing air, when people realize he is not blindly supporting one side or the other
I dont think anyone who has watched a season of Maher would say he was unfair to his conservative guests, he has had on a Republican Congressman from Georgia, John Bolton, David Frum, and others I was not familiar with. Many of the conservatives make salient points, unlike their counterparts on the network news and opinion shows on television

You need to see his show on HBO, it is excellent, it is called "Real Time" and every week (during the season, coming soon) he has on a panel of guests, usually two liberals and one conservative. The conservative nevers gets talked over and is shown respect by everyone, and the conversation is explicit and wide open, unlike ANY you will see on network television. At the end is a segment called "New Rules" which is his take on life, and its hilarious, the rest of the show concentrates on serious discussion of the issues unlike anything else you hear on television.
You do realize that Limbaugh is an admitted opiate addict. Bad choice of words in defending LImbaugh, very bad choice.
