Sorry my liberal friends, but we gotta let go of this albatross around our necks, and live and let live.

The tax has reduced cigarette usage?

It would discourage it. OR are you suggesting that women will engage in illegal abortions designed to avoid paying taxes? What do liberals usually do with people who avoid taxes? They pillory them.

So you would let it slide if women avoided paying this tax?

Say if smokers decided to use the black market to buy cigarettes to avoid paying the taxes, they'd be hunted down and forced to pay the taxes, fined penalties, and possibly jailed.

Yet women should be given special protections? That's equality?

Um, no, it was to make abortions safe, legal, straightforward and affordable, because even though they were illegal they were not going away.

Probably not, but nicotine is addictive. Are abortions physically addictive like nicotine is?

So i'll ask, do you think increased taxes would discourage the use of a non addictive product or service???

IMHO a woman's right to controlling her own body trumps a fetus’s right to commandeer her body. If men had to carry babies and provide all the support for the resulting child, abortion would be a fundamental right. It is not because forced pregnancy is the most effective way of keeping a woman from becoming her own person free of male control.

We are talking about individual freedom. Abortion is a control issue. Not a moral one.

So you're suggesting that women will break laws, and make false rape allegations and destroy other people's lives just to get an abortion?

You don't see a problem with thinking it's wrong to tolerate such behavior?

Do you excuse men for breaking laws? If men will just do something anyways, they should be allowed to???
