President Obama has shattered the budget record for first-year presidents -- spending nearly double what his predecessor did when he came into office and far exceeding the first-year tabs for any other U.S. president in history.

CAMBRIDGE July 17 -- The Business Cycle Dating Committee of the National Bureau of Economic Research met yesterday. At its meeting, the committee determined that a trough in business activity occurred in the U.S. economy in November 2001. The trough marks the end of the recession that began in March 2001 and the beginning of an expansion. The recession lasted 8 months, which is slightly less than average for recessions since World War II.

The committee noted that the most recent data indicate that the broadest measure of economic activity-gross domestic product in constant dollars-has risen 4.0 percent from its low in the third quarter of 2001, and is 3.3 percent above its pre-recession peak in the fourth quarter of 2000.

still trying to blame bush for 9/11, but the reality is that the clinton administration is the one that set up the walls between the intelligence agencies that prevented them from sharing information that could have been acted on earlier and perhaps stopping the attacks. and what was bush supposed to do in front of a bunch of school children? was he supposed to jump up in a panic and rush out, even though there was NOTHING he could do at the moment? was he supposed to tell the kids, sorry i cant finish here because the country was attacked?

what bush did was remain calm in a crisis, but because you hate bush so much, you are blind to the effort.

It take a real idiot to pull that one off,..

its amazing that people forget what Bush did after 9-11. Most Americans were so glad that Bush was president instead of Gore. Can you imagine what he would have done?

Gore: Ok, lets not jump to conclusions. Our muslim friends can't be offended. maybe we can put some sanctions on Al-Queda. That should teach them not to mess with the USA

This statement is preposterous.

fake stats....sure. The lies are easy to see...the come w/ a little R at the end of a person's name.

The same deadbeats who are asking to be put back into power are the same EXACT deadbeats who rubber-stamped EVERYTHING, that W put in front of them. So IT IS about Bush, and especially about those who have shown time and time again how miserably they failed.

A bunch of crap. Walls about intelligence sharing DID NOT APPLY to the terrorists of 9-11. In fact if you go back and actually read and learn something, the failure was that the information was NOT shared...NOT BECAUSE it couldn't be, but because the departments themselves DIDN'T WANT TO. There is NO WALL that would preclude any information sharing between intelligence agencies OF NON-AMERICAN'S. Another conservative LIE.

And yes. A decisive and cognitive person, interupts the teacher and says, "I'm sorry, something has come up and we need to cut our time here short. I've really enjoyed our time together, but I must go."
That simple. Instead, he sat there thinking "I picked the wrong decade to quit sniffing glue!"

I hate Bush for the failure he was and for the catastrophic disaster he unleashed on my Country. The only blind one here are the one's who continue to push false-hood after proven false-hood in true un-American fashion.
