The Principal Financial Group announced on Thursday that it planned to stop selling health insurance, another sign of upheaval emerging among insurers as the new federal health law starts to take effect.

The company, based in Iowa, provides coverage to about 840,000 people who receive their insurance through an employer.
The intended consequences of obamacare - eliminate private insurance, said by obama, frank, rahm and many others in the most radical administration this country has ever been a victim to.

Because Principal Financial is primarily in the business of asset management, it decided not to make the investments needed to remain competitive as a health insurer, Mr. Houston said.
Sounds reasonable. Not every company can or should be in the health insurance business.

More likely just make them laugh at yet another hapless example of right-wing distortion, exaggeration, misrepresentation, and outright lying.

LMAO....This coming from the party of tax cheats and liars!

If this health care bill is so great why don't we see all the Dems. using it in their re-election campaigns now?? People are now starting to get their renewal policies for 2011 and realizing they're getting huge increases 30% +. Been happening here in Mass. for 4 years now since it was mandated we have health care, mine went up 40% this year alone! This bill has nothing to do with controlling costs, actually it'll do just the opposite. Now when more companies go under and more employers dumb their employees benefits you'll see cost escalate even higher for those still paying! But this is what you get from the "Pass the bill and see what's in it later DEMOCRATS!"

What do your ramblings have to do with the distortion, exaggeration, and misrepresentation of the OP with reference to the Principal Financial Group?

The OP didn't misrepresent anything. He quoted what the article said.
