Will Obama try to sue California over marijuana the same way he did Arizona over SB1070? True "change" is trying to gain hold, but the federal government won't let it happen. Holder is a frickin' tool.

"The ex-Drug Enforcement Administration chiefs sent a letter to Holder in August calling on the Obama administration to sue California if Prop 19 passes. They said legalizing pot presented the same threat to federal authority as Arizona's recent immigration law."

I'm rooting for California. Not because I'm FOR pot but because I'm more against the Fed Gov.
Their "war on drugs" will start to fall apart. Without a war there is no need for funding ? Without funding there is no need for thousands of Fed employees for this "war on drugs" that we will NEVER win.

Go California...pass that law and double dog dare Holder.

No, he won't.

Legalizing drugs is a plus on his liberal ass-kiss list.
But enforcing immigration laws is a minus.

So we'll see some inconsistency here. Nuh uh! You don't say!

Isn't California's economy larger than the remainder minus California?

California is a first world nation.

The rest of the U.S. - second world.

If California legalizes marijuana, we may see that the argument for "states rights" doesn't just apply to conservative states.

I'm still not convinced it's going to pass so I don't think much will happen.

The only "showdown" the Feds need to be concerned with is the one they need to have on our southern border with the drug cartels.

If the Feds want to make a real impact on the "so-called" drug "WAR" they need to get cracking on those murdering drug cartels on our border shooting and murdering our citizens and border agents. Any pot that's sold in California dispensaries was GROWN in California.

Until they do something about that drug problem with the cartels they need to leave what we do here in California alone.

Unless Calif Prop 19 violates the 4th amendment, I see no reason for the feds to get involved. I wonder if the anti government zealots are going to beg the federal government to get involved. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
