Just wondering how is the tea party going to lead to the death of the united states? Just what is it that they support that you believe would do that?
The Tea Party has shown that it does not tolerate dissent. It's their way or the highway, definitive fascism. If anyone is afraid that the government wants to control us, the vehicle for that assumption of power might very well be the Tea Party. If elevated to power, rights would be trampled, advances would be bulldozed, and corporations would rule with iron fists. They chant Freedom!, but their methods suggest jack-booted domestic terrorism. Their enemies are other Americans--how can that be good? The collective rage that gave birth to the Tea Party is why it will contribute to the fall of this country. Good intentions are not powerful enough to overcome the chaos of irrational minds.
Many of the biggest A-holes in history supported religious ideals, does that mean that god is bad? It just means that someone supports something that doesn't automatically lock it into a two way street. The last guy was about as far to the right as it can get and one of the biggest open acts of socialism came to pass under his watch.
There are plenty of those on the left who do not whole heartedly support Obama, they see it more as the lesser of two evils and often times the lesser part isn't all that much. There's a large portion of the left who disagree with a LOT of what he did/is doing - they just don't think it's as quite bad as the other guy. And many of those on the far left will say that he isn't left enough.
As I'm sure has been said many times on here Our country is just about as dependent on socialism as it is Capitalism. Roads, schools, our police and military... all funded by nasty old socialism. If it's that bad, quit driving, bulldoze the schools, disband the police and cut our military and we'll see how invisible the invisible hand really is.
You have some nerve posting something that is actually true!! Shame on you! some of these knuckleheads are claiming that Obama is a socialist meanwhile they are suckling on the teat of a foriegn billioniare (Rupert Murdock) in the dividing of our country.

There is a difference. We as Conservatives denounce the ideology and hate of white supremecy. The liberals dont denounce those who push socialism, marxism, or communism. They embrace them.

I don't think so. Both believe in the supremacy of the state. One openly calls for government control of the means to production the other calls for the means of production to stay private but vehemently defined by the government. In other words both systems are ones ran by the state all based on Nationalistic fervor.
The left hasn't had any real power for years, and this is exactly what we have now (systems ran by the state based on national fervor).
Actually, Communism is doing quite well.....in China.
And patriotic American businessmen are flocking over there like crows!
The rest of the Communist counties, are basket cases.

The ten main planks of the Communist Manifesto, commissioned by Karl Marx are as follows:
Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes. (pay property taxes or lose your property)
A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Abolition of all right of inheritance. (estate/inheritance taxes)
Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. (seizure of your belongings if you step out of line)
Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (Federal Reserve)
Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. (FCC, FAA, etc.)
Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.
Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
The italicized comments are mine, but are not exhaustive.
Think about how many of these are already present within the system to which you've become accustomed.

Out with Ron Paul?? He's probably the only one associated with the Tea Party movement who tells it like it is. Also, I don't know how you would associate him with religiousness. He's no Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton.
