What's next? Gridlock. The democrats have shown they have absolutely no intention of compromising or working with the republicans, and of course Obama isn't going to sign anything that repeals what he worked to get passed.

Exactly, this is the only answer that makes sense and the only one that should be stated...GRIDLOCK! AKA nothing!!!
Now that the GOP has gained control of the House Of Representatives, what should they tackle first?
Repeal the Healthcare Bill?
Repeal DADT?
Impeach Obama?
What?
When they reconvene there will obviously be a lot on their plates, so where should they start?
They can talk the talk but without control of the Senate filibuster and with the veto power of President Obama it doesn't mean much. The Republicans held up 431 pieces of legislation in the last two years by using the filibuster. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
If you thought Washington was contentious for the last two years you ain't seen nothing yet.
Projecting the Democrats platform since 2006 are you?
Nanny Pelosi was fired as Speaker tonight. There will finally be transparency in the House and none of this shoving bills through in the dark.
Yeah, I know because Republicans are like Superman and the Democrats are Lex Luther Every bill presented is available for anyone to read, if someone chose not to, that's their issue. Furthermore, the Republicans do not have the Senate nor the power of veto. There are going to be a whole lot of broken promises.
LOL..isn't that what went on for 2 years with the Dems ?
Not so sure about that, but it sure was the case for 8 of the 10 years in the past decade.
