I am stunned by how many conservative voters do not know basic Civics. Any repeal of Healthcare Reform Law is impossible, and the GOP lied to voters that they could do it. Even if GOP won both the House AND the Senate, repeal of HCR is impossible, because of President Obama's Constitutional veto powers. Now any phoney repeal endeavors by the House would be blocked by the Senate, and President Obama will never even have to veto such a bill.

We know that It's called political grandstanding in case you didn't know. All of us are fully aware we don't have a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and a sitting President who is a Democrat.

I don't think a big chunk of your grassroots people know that.

...hardly necessary
The Democrats’ ambitious Health care overhaul is facing roadblocks from newly elected state officials who harshly criticized it while campaigning and who are now in a position to make good on their promises.
"If the Republican governors were to get together and say ‘we’re going to derail this train,’ they could do much more to reverse the national health [law] than an effort to repeal it in Congress," said Ross Baker, a political science professor at Rutgers University. "The governors could, without defying federal law, simply implement it inefficiently, throw sand in the gears."
"While unable to overturn the federal law, the newly elected officials will be under pressure to act. They could lean on congressional delegations to repeal or change the legislation, seek waivers from some of its provisions, veto state legislation related to it and appoint like-minded people to important positions...
at the very least, states may opt to slow implementation, while Republican lawmakers look ahead to the 2012 presidential election. "

I think you need some civic lessons as well.
Congress CAN pass a bill veto'd by the President with a 2/3 vote in both houses. While it is difficult to do, the process is there that allows it.
The buck does NOT stop at the President's desk. And that is in the Constitution as well.

you are making a lot of assumptions here. the voters know that the health care law will be virtually impossible to repeal, however, they will accept an effort to repeal or defund, the law to minimize its impact on the economy. reversing a lot of this administrations policies are going to be difficult, and as i said the voters know this. the republicans only need to pass legislation, ike tax cuts for everyone, rolling back regulations on business, etc. and let the democrats be the ones to block the legislation.

Really. Please explain how that is impossible.
'Health Care Reform - The House is likely to take a vote on repeal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act health care reform law for the sake of politics. But the Senate is unlikely to go along, and President Obama would certainly veto any outright repeal.
