Hey everyone. I know the event took place this past weekend. But I wanted to tie it to the midterm election results.

Did anyone catch Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear"? What did you think of it?

One of my friends today said that the American people had made their voting decisions yesterday based on fear and ignorance.

I mention that because Stewart and Colbert's rally was meant to be a call against hatred, fear-mongering, and simple-mindedness.

Listen to Stewart's closing speech:

In the end, of course, the GOP won.

I welcome thoughts from conservatives, liberals, and independents.
