It's about time!!!!!! This IMHO latent homosexual, Andrew Shirvell, who went far out of his way.....to the point of OBSESSION, to harass Michigan Student Body President, Chris Armstrong has been FIRED!

Now after using his position of power to cyber bully a young gay student, Shirvell is complaining/whining that he too is being bullied on the internet. I say....WHAT GOES AROUND; COMES AROUND OR YOU MADE YOUR BED; NOW LIE IN IT.

Default Michigan assistant AG fired after targeting openly gay student leader

Quote:
An assistant attorney general in Michigan is out of a job, fired after targeting an openly gay University of Michigan student leader online and in person -- then lying about his actions to investigators -- state Attorney General Mike Cox said Monday.Andrew Shirvell "repeatedly violated office policies, engaged in borderline stalking behavior and inappropriately used state resources," Cox said.
Quote:
Cox said he wasn't firing Shirvell for "exercising ... First Amendment rights, (however) unpopular (the) positions might be," but for persistent and personal harassment.

According to Cox, Shirvell showed up at Armstrong's home three times -- including once at 1:30 a.m. Cox said that this early morning visit, especially, showed that Shirvell was intent on harassing Armstrong, not just exercising his right to free speech.

While Shirvell may not be charged criminally with stalking, Cox said that he behaved in a way that "was harassing, uninvited and showed a pattern that was, in the everyday sense, stalking." He cited numerous examples, including:

-- Calling the office of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, where Armstrong worked, "in an attempt to slander Armstrong" and get him fired.

-- Trying to "out" Armstrong's friends -- some of whom were not gay -- as homosexual.

-- Harassing Armstrong's friends while out socializing in Ann Arbor, the home of the University of Michigan.

Good. Now prosecute him for the criminal harassment he engaged in.

This guys is a solid nut case....IMHO....and judging by the obsession he has about this young man I think he is very similar to those who get a crush on a movie star and then turn evil toward them when they realize there is no hope for a relationship.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what took this so long to happen. I have no idea how the office of an Attorney General, of any state, could not find this to blatantly improper behavior which has tainted the appearance of impartiality in a office that depends upon such appearances.
