And all the trillions he spent doing that 'clean up' did ____________?

Nothing fits the blank.

Does that tell anyone something of his abilities?

Sure does.

He ignored the main issue for nearly two years just to get his legacy built and passed.

hey! look at what dubya gave him to work with. how soon people forget that the economy is in the state that it's in because a bush put us there, and now it's so convenient for everyone to point the blame at obama. that's like me going into your bedroom, making a huge mess of it, and then you get in trouble for not cleaning it up fast enough

if that "legacy" you're talking about is the healthcare reform, well then i'm glad mr. barack felt he had something to prove

You do know that Bush signed legislation that a DEMOCRATIC controlled Congress sent him, right?

Spread the blame if you're gonna spread anything.

O considered his legacy BEFORE he considered it's consequences.

You know like you like to say Bush's actions had consequences?

Pot, kettle, etc. etc. etc.

Blame Bush but hail O?

I do neither.

Both are/were bad for this country.

Or the Super Majority in both the House & Senate along with a Progressive GW Bush. You think GW was a Conservative? He surely wasn't afraid to spend your money. He liked his social programs, too.

Bush was just OBAMA lite.
Both Progressive thinkers.

If you like to spend, your anything but Conservative.

The BAD part about a full bore Progressive and Progressive Lite is, the full bore Progressive will actually think about how to pay for the big government and spending, by taxing us to death, but still come up short. The Progressive Lite will spend and not think one moment about how to fund it.

Lets try a true Conservative for once.

What we have had, with the Progressive and Progressive Lite, that got us here, is a lesson not to be repeated.

Forget the R&D pony show!
It is time for a Progressive Party and a Conservative Party. Forget the intermingling to fool the public and push socialist agendas, no matter what party you have been electing.

One day he is for a public option in health care, the next day he says it's not necessary.

One day he is opposed to extending tax cuts for the wealthy, the next day he isn't.

One day he is for ending don't ask, don't tell, the next day he isn't willing to fight to end it.

There just doesn't seem to be any particular policy that he campaigned on which he isn't willing to throw under the bus now that he's elected.

So I keep asking myself why I should vote for the man again. After all, I can't believe anything he says at this point. He has basically taken every public policy that he supposedly cared about and sacrificed them for political convenience. That's not a leader.
This is what happens when you vote for a rudderless man with a blank slate. If a person wants to be president, they should be able to point to prior accomplishments as a leader with some sort of executive experience. even if the person was just a mayor, or CEO of a medium sized company, they have still gone under the gun, been pressured to perform, and made a lasting and final decision, and taken their lumps for it. This teaches them how to make decisions, and to start trusting in their own judgment, 0bama never experienced any of this.

This is why I do not want congressmen or senators for president. They are never held accountable for their actions. When some of the bills and legislation are signed into law by a president, and they turn out to be disasters, the pres will be held accountable, not the congressmen and senators who wrote and passed the bill.

I think you got what you paid for, you rolled the dice, you bought a book by its cover, and you went with style over substance. I only hope people like you will have learned a lesson. You cannot trust a man to build your dream house, if he has never nailed two boards together in his life, and expect favorable results.
