We would have to implement a way out through education and job opportunity. They would have to make more being off welfare than on it.

I know Star Parker made her way out (read "Uncle Tom's Plantation"), but it was hard work and determination on her part. You wouldn't find a lot of people with that kind of gumption.

We have to make the way out a pleasing, hopeful and productive venture.

Let us know how you do.
I agree, it's not great, so lets end a lot of it and allow charities to get people jobs or shame them into working if they don't want to.
There isn't the money to pay for all this anyway. We are bleeding to death deficit all over the place.

Just what do you suggest we tell the children of these folk when they get hungry waiting for a 'charity' to find mom or dad a job?

Shame them? You do realize what the current UE rate is don't you? Try shaming millions of Americans who don't have jobs & see how far that gets you. Most of them are already stressed to the max & would love to find some release. I dare ya

There would be enough money for programs to help if we weren't paying for needless wars & started the charity here at home.

Do you honestly believe that MOST of those who need food stamps, rent help or medical help don't want to work? They like to shop, dine out & do all of the things you probably do but, with the little they receive, they can't.

You have special interest not only electing a President and an entire House of Representatives, for almost 100 years they are also electing the Senators.

There is no check, to balance the special interest, that is costing States their sovereignty.
