Yes, I think we've lost the "war on terror". Recall the goal of terrorism is to commit violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror).
The fear is working and coming at a great cost to the US.
Looks like Al Qaeda has learned to fight the "economic war".
Those cargo bombs only cost them $4200 but inflicted global economic damage in many countries.
