Wouldn't having a 'guarenteed job' just remove any incentive to work? If you KNEW you were going to get paid no matter what, why would you ever actually work?

I feel very sorry for those people, their messed up lives and lack of perspective...
You do realize that the government actually rewards people who mess up their lives (and therefore their children's lives) with financial incentives (freebie entitlements and welfare) while creating financial hardships (forces them to pay taxes) for people who work for a living to support themselves and their families, right?

Mess up, and it's taken care of by 'nanny government.'

Work hard to provide for yourself and your family, and nope - gotta deduct from your paycheck to pay the IRS.

Do you not see what's wrong with that picture?

I don't feel any sympathy for her either. She has five kids. I would love to have a couple of kids but I don't because I can't afford them right now. The REASON I can't afford them is because my taxes are so high PAYING for HER children and everyone else milking money from the producers in this country. End all welefare. End all entitlements. Let people keep more of their money and then let friends, families, and faith organizations that one belongs to take care of you when you are in difficult times. If we cut out the 60% of the federal spending that went to these entitlement programs we'd all have a lot more money to use to not only help our own families but to give to charities to help those that need it. Government has no place taking money from one person and giving it to another. Subsidize poverty and you will get more of it, just like anything else.

So why are you all so willing to have the government buy weapons from companies that charge $200 per hour for "administrative overhead"? The real welfare cases in this country are milking our military. Check out the company formerly called Blackwater for example.

If you all envy her for not working why don't you join her by quitting your job and going on welfare? Then you could sit at home all day. Wouldn't that be nice.

5 kids? Speaking of poor choices. At some point we need to be held accountable for our actions. In my opinion that would have been at kid #2.

She had 7 years to answer those questions. Sorry..I feel no pity for her.
Take the kids and put them in foster care.
I think it must stop and re-start. I have no sympathy either. Go to prison, get trained to do something, come out, being a good citizen and take care of your 5 kids for God's sake, Not only does she expect to continue living off the government you can be pretty sure her 5 kids will learn the same habits.

oh please!!! and how much more will it cost the tax payers to continue to support her? Not only are we talking food stamps, WIC, welfare checks, how about free medical as well as a million other freebies? Of course it isn't her kids fault, take them away from her, make her do something to prove she is a fit mom and this has nothing to do with Afghanistan. They are 2 different problems.

There are drug programs all over the place, but a person has to 1-admit they have a problem and 2-want to be helped. Without that no program will work. We see this all the time with celebrities.

Maybe, just maybe, she should have thought about how she would provide for a child BEFORE she got pregnant...five times.

See, that's the problem with the dependent and generational welfare mentality - they just think the government, I.E., the TAXPAYER will pay for them forever.

She should get her fat a** up and DO SOMETHING for herself.
