Then the system needs to overhauled. It will never be to the benefit of society as a whole to just give up & dismiss this problem.

Make recipients show proof of getting a GED after a period of time on the welfare roll & following up with this & other programs that could be implemented would also create more jobs for caseworkers.

Think about what would happen to this country if every state just stopped welfare. Its a scary thought. We cannot just say 'it doesn't work' & forget about it.

If you read that link there have been many, many various welfare to work programs over the years. They are not working.

And what if they don't get that GED..as many haven't ?
What will you do..kick them OFF welfare before their 5 years is up ?

40 years of various programs and data show these programs are not working.
