Well Quick it's all well and good.

In your perfect world they would sop it up and become educated and productive.
Back here in the real world..they are passing up the opportunities and now crying when the spigot of welfare funds is being shut off.

I am not naive to believe in a perfect world. I just want to find a way to get some of these leaches off the public dole.

What is your solution? We can't just keep going the way we are. If 10% secede that is better than 0%.

Take the kids and put them in foster care. Tough love.
Cut the welfare and tell the mom..get your act together so you can have your kids back and raise them properly. If the mother really cares then she'll do whatever it takes, meanwhile the kids are being taken care of and have food, shelter and clothes.

Notice I did say foster care..I do not advocate permanent removal; just removal long enough so the mother can get on her feet.

What if the government decided children had to removed because the parent smoke pot, or cigarettes?

yes, this country has its priorities wrong, where they think its ok to perpetuate poverty, to encourage people not to work, to allow for limited consequences for poor choices.. you know, everything you are supporting..
They can be controlled more easily this way by the left.
