The part about the trains I have from my grandparents (my grandfather was an officer in the Generalstab during WWII) and from countless eye-witnesses we had to listen to during my university studies.
And of course some books, which I don't find on the net, so I cannot link to any uploaded content.
Wow...75% of their gold resources were transacted in Switzerland? And a large portion of it was taken from Holocaust victims (Raubgold...means stolen gold...right?). What i don't understand is why it went to Portugal for "war resources?" What resources were to be found in Portugal?
Ah................. there we go again. The liberal presumption that gun owners are morons. Arrogance and presumptiveness is a common theme among the liberals. Sadly, these "attributes" are rarely coupled with actual traits to warrant such behavior and should beg humility.
I think you would have said the same thing about people saying that Finland wouldn't be able to beat the Soviets
Finland didn't beat the Soviets. They lost 10% of their territory, tons of infrastructure and although they formally retained independence, in practice their foreign policy options were extremely limited until the Soviet Union fell.
It's true that the Finns fought extremely well and the Soviets equally poorly. But Finland ended smaller, poorer and less free.
